BECOME A MEMBER
At Cass Ceramics, our member community is the heart and soul of the studio! This vibrant community of artists vary in skill level from recent beginners to long time ceramicists. Our members thrive in an environment of creativity bolstered by skill shares, throwdowns, meetups, and collaboration.
Members have 24x7 access to the studio, a personal storage shelf, studio equipment, and opportunities to show and sell work in our gallery.
Memberships cost $180 per month. Members also enjoy discounts on clay, firing services, classes, and workshops.
NOTE: Membership is currently full. If you meet the requirements below, please feel free to contact us to be placed in the membership wait pool.
Membership requirements:

You’ve completed at least one 6 week class at Cass Ceramics

You’ve demonstrated an ability to follow studio protocols

You’re able to work independently with minimal input from staff

You’re up to date on current studio systems and policies (if you haven’t been present in the studio for more than 6 months you will not be considered for membership)

You treat other artists, students, members, and staff with respect
FIRING SERVICES
We are a mid-fire studio (cone 5). All clay used in our studio space must be purchased through us, but we are able to fire other outside pieces as long as you can verify that they are made from cone 5 clays.
Quarter shelf, pieces up to 8" tall - $15
Quarter shelf, pieces up to 12" tall - $20
Half shelf, pieces up to 8" tall - $28
Half Shelf, pieces up to 12" tall - $38
Full shelf, pieces up to 8" tall - $55
Full Shelf, pieces up to 12" tall - $75
DAY PASSES
Our open studio Day Passes are an excellent way to work independently in the studio. Staff are always nearby to provide support and answer questions, but no instruction is provided during open studio. We ask that you use equipment you are familiar with or register for one of our classes to learn a new skill.
Day passes are $15/day and clay & firing can be purchased as needed. All clay must be purchased from Cass Ceramics.
Open studio hours are 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday and 10am-4pm Sunday. Clean up time begins 30 minutes before closing.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need a brief studio orientation before using the studio for the first time. Please call or email ahead of time to schedule your orientation.
6 Day Pass Package
The multi-day pass package is a great deal for artists planning to visit for open studio several times. This package includes 6 day passes and a 25lb bag of clay for $100 (retail value $145).
