Wheel 2: Large Forms - Saturday Mornings

Service Description

PREREQUISITE: Students are eligible only if they have already completed one 6 week Wheel 1 class at Cass Ceramics within the past 6 months. Time to size up! Continue to advance your wheel throwing skills and learn to throw larger pieces with confidence. Students will engage in multi-step projects and create unique forms ranging from 4-6lb of clay under the instruction of Lauren Pedersen. Class includes clay and firing for all pieces made in class (additional clay available for purchase). Class meets once per week for 6 weeks and includes all equipment, materials & firing for pieces made in class, as well as free access to open studio hours (Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm and Sundays 10am-4pm). Please note, we do not offer make up classes. Students are encouraged to take advantage of open studio hours to make up any missed classes with some independent practice. Private lessons are also available to currently enrolled students at a discounted rate. This class is designed for adults and will move at an adult pace. Teens ages 15+ are welcome to join.
