Service Description

Learn how to throw on the wheel and see a piece through from creation to finished work. This class is perfect for beginners and for folks brushing up on or expanding their knowledge of wheel throwing. Class meets once per week for 6 weeks and includes all equipment, materials & firing for pieces made in class, as well as free access to open studio hours (Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm and Sundays 10am-4pm). This class will primarily focus on building wheel throwing skills. Students will receive a glazing lesson at the end of the class and will have the opportunity to glaze some but not all of their pieces during class time. Students will return after the class session ends to pick up fired pieces and may choose to purchase a day pass at that time to glaze any remaining unfinished pieces. Please note, we do not offer make up classes. Students are encouraged to take advantage of open studio hours to make up any missed classes with some independent practice. Private lessons are also available to currently enrolled students at a discounted rate.
