Guided Studio - Thursday Evenings

Service Description

PREREQUISITE: Students are eligible only if they have already completed one 6 week Wheel 1 class at Cass Ceramics (ideally within the last 6 months). Guided Studio is our special "Choose Your Own Adventure" experience. Bring some project ideas of your own and we'll focus on helping you achieve your individual goals. Instructor Lauren Pedersen will provide specific demonstrations based on your vision and then offer support, advice and guidance to make your dreams a reality. This class will not follow a curriculum and students are welcome and encouraged to bring their own project ideas to class.  Guided Studio includes 25lb of clay per student. Additional clay is available for purchase. During class time Lauren is focused on making with you but not glazing with you. You're encouraged to sign up for our 3 week glazing class if you're interested in glazing focused instruction. Class meets once per week for 3 weeks and includes all equipment, materials & firing for pieces made in class, as well as free access to open studio hours (Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm and Sundays 10am-4pm). Please note, we do not offer make up classes. Students are encouraged to take advantage of open studio hours to make up any missed classes with some independent practice. Private lessons are also available to currently enrolled students at a discounted rate.
