Sculpting Birds (Two day workshop!)

Create a unique bird sculpture in this two day sculpting workshop open to all skill levels - no experience needed! Instructor Lizzie Poock will lead you through the process of creating a sculpture base, adding attachments, and refining the sculpture to resemble a bird of your choosing (real or imagined)

Day 1 - August 14th, 6-8pm: create bird base and begin shaping

Day 2 - August 15th, 6-8pm: refine sculpture and embellish

Firing is included and participants will choose a color from our selection of studio glazes (one color per sculpture). Cass Ceramics staff will lovingly fire and glaze the sculptures, which will be ready for pick up in 4-5 weeks. Alternatively, participants may choose to glaze their own sculpture in open studio with a day pass.
