TWO PART WORKSHOP - 2/18 & 2/19, 9am-12pm
Learn to build a tea set using slabs of clay and embellish it to your liking. Then return to explore an ancient technique of carving out patterns from colored slips. Beginners welcome - no experience necessary!
2/18, 9am-12pm: Build tea set: 2 tea cups, 2 saucers, 2 spoons
2/19, 9am-12pm: Sgraffito the tea sets
Tea sets will be fired and ready for pick up in 3-4 weeks.
* Note: This workshop will alternate with our Sgraffito Teapot workshop on an ongoing basis! Take this workshop and then return for the teapot workshop to complete your set. If you have already created a teapot, join us to build the rest of the set.
