Descriptions
Please note, we do not offer make up classes. Students are encouraged to take advantage of open studio hours to make up any missed classes with some independent practice. Private lessons are also available to currently enrolled students at a discounted rate.
We are able to offer refunds and class transfers (when available) up to two weeks before the start date of the class.

Wheel One
Learn how to throw on the wheel and see a piece through from creation to finished work. This class is perfect for beginners and for folks brushing up on or expanding their knowledge of wheel throwing.

Wheel Two
Continue to advance your wheel throwing skills in our variety of themed intermediate level wheel throwing classes. Wheel 1 is a prerequisite for any Wheel 2 class and students must complete a 6 week Wheel 1 class at Cass Ceramics before registering for any Wheel 2 class.

Wheel Three
Engage in multi-step projects and create unique forms in this advanced level wheel throwing class. Wheel 1 & Wheel 2 are prerequisites for our Wheel 3 class and students must complete both classes at Cass Ceramics before advancing to Wheel 3.

Handbuilding 1
Explore various methods of creating with clay. Hand building includes any work that does not use the pottery wheel, so creative opportunities are limitless. This class is open to all skill levels.

Handbuilding 2: Slabs
Continue to develop your hand building skills in this intermediate level class. Students will focus entirely on the art of building with clay slabs to build a variety of functional everyday items. Hand Building 1 is a prerequisite for this class and students must complete a 6 week Hand Building 1 class at Cass Ceramics before registering for this class.
