Wheel 3: Teapots! - Saturday Mornings

Service Description

*THIS IS A 3 WEEK SESSION Learn the intricate process of creating a wheel Thrown teapot. Instructor Lauren Pedersen will teach students in this class to throw the body and components of a teapot and guide them through assembling and embellishing the finished teapot. PREREQUISITE: Students are eligible only if they have already completed one 6 week Wheel 1 class and one 6 week Wheel 2 class at Cass Ceramics. Students will throw and trim in this class, but no class time will be allotted to glazing. Students are welcome to return with a day pass to complete their pieces. Class meets once per week for 3 weeks and includes all equipment, materials & firing for pieces made in class, as well as free access to open studio hours (Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm and Sundays 10am-4pm). Please note, we do not offer make up classes. Students are encouraged to take advantage of open studio hours to make up any missed classes with some independent practice. Private lessons are also available to currently enrolled students at a discounted rate.
